Is this real life?

Honestly, I don't even know how I survived this past weekend. I also don't even know where to begin telling everything that happened this weekend. Hands down though this was probably the best weekend of my life. Friday was Date Party and that was definitely one for the books. But sorry yall, what happens at date party, stays at date party. Lets just say if you weren't there, you seriously missed out. Now on to why I could die happy after Saturday night. Beating duke seriously made my life complete. First off, if you are reading this and you didn't know that we beat the Blue Devils then please go throw yourself off of Torg Bridge and never read my blog again, you are not worthy.

Top 10 moments of Virginia Tech putting Duke in their place:
10. The amazing seats KMart got us for the game. During warm ups Im pretty positive one of the Duke players could hear KMart and I talking about him. whoops.
9. Gameday being at Cassell in general. Didn't quite make it to College Gameday, but even being in the same place as the ESPN correspondents made me the happiest girl in the world.
8. Figuring out that Kyle Singler looks like the creepy guy from The DaVinci Code. He was probably torturing himself like that guy did in the movie after how he played.
7. Being on TV was sweet. Ya know the first of many times I plan on being on ESPN in my life.
6. The "Who's your daddy" chants to Seth Curry were perfect, sorry bout it but Dell was clearly the only one to ever grace Cassell Coliseum with his talents.
5.Getting to watch Sportscenter over and over again, and getting to see the highlights over and over again. It probably sunk in that we actually won after the 2nd or 3rd time of watching it.
4. Rushing the court was soooooooo amazing. Even before the buzzer sounded the aisles were packed with people waiting. I'm not talking just students. People of all ages. Hokienation represent!
3. It was beyond hilarious this morning while hanging out with a certain basketballer in squires, he could not understand why everyone was staring at him. Oh, I don't know maybe because you scored 12 points in the game and beat the number one team in the country?
2. Being in the same place, being feet away from a straight up legend. Dicky V is who I'm talking about in case yall didn't know. The thought of jumping over the sheriff, and around the ESPN camera crew to touch him seriously crossed my mind for about 5 seconds.
1.  After beating BC tomorrow and Clemson on saturday (lets cross our fingers, and pray), come selection sunday we should be able to say Hi Haters, and be on our way to the NCAA tournament for the first time in a while. See ya never (well at least until next season) N-ot I-mportant T-ournament, Not Invited Tournament, ect.

In sports, like in life, their are no guarantees, that's what makes games like saturday's so amazing.
