Move over Carrie Bradshaw, I am in New York City for the next two days and I plan on taking it by storm. At first, I assumed my spring break was going to be much like my winter break: boring as hell. But thankfully my spring break made a turn for the better when I received an email from HBO Sports about an interview for their summer internship program so you know I immediately booked a flight, any excuse to come to the city that never sleeps. Yeah yeah I know, going north for spring break? are you serious? trust me all my compadres are down south soaking up the sun and making enough questionable decisions for all of us. The best thing about not being in the same boat? Getting all the "oh my goodness you wont guess what I did last night texts" Priceless may I just say, cant wait to see what else the week will bring for my fellow sorostitutes. Anyway, my flight was surprisingly pleasant and smooth. No, I unfortunately didn't get to second base with any TSA agents (cross your fingers for me for my flight back!) My interview is tomorrow morning and I am probably going to die of nerves before then. HBO sports pride and joy is their remarkable specials and documentaries ( I cried the whole two hours of the Lombardi special they were airing over winter break, yeah judge me.) If all goes well, I will write tomorrow about my day/ interview! Wish me luck!
